Making change visible

Lenné3D provided a large number of simulations for the land use plan amendment procedure for the designation of concentration zones for wind energy use in the Saarbrücken Regional Association. The different simulations contributed to a much better understanding of the plan justification. The realistic visualizations of wind energy plants were a great support especially in citizen information events. The extremely high reliability of Lenné3D during the whole planning procedure has to be emphasized, which also enabled short-term deliveries of additional simulations.

With the visualization of dead wood in a running water Lenné3D was faced with a new challenge in our BMBF/BMUB project „Wilde Mulde“. The result is impressive: Especially in combination with the authentic shadow cast by the copses at the watercourse edge, not only realistic but also scenically very beautiful visualizations succeeded, which convey an image of flowing waters with deadwood to the general public. The professionalism and flexibility in the implementation of short-term adjustments of Lenné3D have convinced me very much.

The collaboration with Lenné3D has always been very inspiring. One of our work focuses is to develop innovative concepts for cultural landscapes shaped by renewable energies. With Lenné3D we have a good tool to plausibly visualize these models of future energy landscapes. This is very important for the communication with developers, municipalities or residents!

During the cooperation in the research and development project „Interactive Landscape Plan Königslutter am Elm“ we used Lenné3D very profitably for our site. It was and is a system that is highly innovative.

Lenné3D have accompanied us from the beginning in our project ‚REALCOOL‘ (‚Really cooling water bodies in cities‘) as visualizers. We worked in a cooperation of urban planners, meteorologists and hydrologists on new typologies for urban water environments. Lenné3D first produced 3D base drawings that supported the design process. They then produced many good photorealistic visualizations of our new typologies and finally animations of the new typologies. These animations show in a very attractive and vivid way how the typologies work spatially and microclimatically.
