Lenné3D presents Biosphere3D

Lenné3D is specialised in providing premium support for Biosphere3D – an interactive, geodata-based, open-source landscape visualisation system.

The visualisation system supports multiple scales on a virtual globe, and - in contrast to other earth browsers - is focussing on real-time rendering of landscape scenery and 3D vegetation. Biosphere3D reads satellite images and ortho photos (.ecw and jp2) and digital elevation models (DEM, "stretched" .jp2) of multiple terabytes, which can be combined with vegetation plots based on ESRI multipoint shapes, 3D plants (.flora3d) and 3D objects (Collada/.dae), and an atmosphere to create photorealistic views, e.g. of planned scenarios, virtually reconstructed historic gardens or archaeological landscapes.
