Reconstruction and simulation

3D visualizations give you the opportunity to create an image of reality. But they can also re-present any arbitrary condition of a landscape. This offers several fields of application for the use of visualizations. They all have in common that they want to represent either past (reconstruction) or future (simulation) conditions of a landscape.

Landscape simulation

3D landscape simulations are a projection of future landscapes. They are most commonly produced in the context of spatial planning or architectural designs. A 3D simulation enables the evaluation of designs, different layouts or scenarios of a planned area in a realistic way. They can be a helpful tool for evaluating and describing impacts on the landscape of future projects. In addition visualizations can contribute to any communication process in the planning context.

Landscape reconstruction

Based on archaeological knowledge and archaeobotanical research past landscapes, including their buildings, palaces and agricultural structures, can be reconstructed. This includes visualizing certain conditions of historic natural or cultural landscapes. All reconstructions

can be compared to todays or any future condition of a landscape.

Further fields of application

Beside the described examples there are further possible fields of application for Lenné3D.

These are whenever communication of landscape or vegetational content is needed. We offer

the competence to reach out and co-operate with adjacent application areas such as city marketing, environmental education or the film and video-game industry.
