Product Overview
Déjàvu3D SDK is Lenné3D's solution for real-time and level of detail (LoD) rendering of 3D plants. The Dejavu3D SDK can be seamlessly integrated as C++ software library into third-party software systems. Déjàvu3D SDK consists of:
- Plant loader library, plant render library, and digital rights management library
- Source code versions of the APIs for the libraries
- Source code versions of the GLSL shader programs, e.g. for optimized LoD
- C-Interface
In contrast to other real-time solutions, which often rely on overly simplified geometry to achieve interactive frame-rates (i.e. based on sprites), this novel idea is based on high-resolution plant models and dynamic LoD algorithms. Our advanced plant format Flora3D – is designed for interactive display and computation of plant models. The technology is based on the 3D-Player resulting from a 1.5 M Euro research project. Common 3D foliage solutions force users to make trade-offs in detail and interactivity. They might be ok for gaming, where today only substandard botanic requirements have to be met, but they are not suitable for professional applications. Déjàvu3D is the best industry solution for real-time and detailed 3D plants rendering.

- Currently Windows XP and Vista (x86 and x64), other platforms on request.

- An x86 CPU with SSE2 support, e.g. Intel Pentium 4 (since 2000) or newer generations, Intel Celeron (NetBurst/ since 2002) or newer, AMD K8 generation (since 2003) or newer generations, e.g. Athlon 64, Sempron, Opteron, Turion 64.
